The work of the organizing committee continues.
The organizing committee held the first two meetings on working issues as usual, and the third, in order to ensure security measures, in the Zoom application.

At the meeting, it was decided to extend the deadline for submission of abstracts to the symposium secretariat until June 5, 2020. Authors who wish to submit their works to the symposium can access the template “Abstract Form of Statement” and “Rules and Samples of Sample Statement” on the website activity.

By decision of the organizing council, in order to effectively conduct meetings taking into account the opinions and suggestions of all participants, meetings of the organizing committee, the secretariat of the event and representatives of associations were held according to the corresponding schedule in the Zoom application.

During the meetings, it was proposed to consider at the symposium issues related to working conditions and problems of elevator manufacturing companies, and the importance of creating platforms for examining the work of state institutions, organizations and associations in the field of elevators was emphasized. Particular attention at the symposium is planned to be given to the issues of professional training of engineering and technical personnel, for which the parties expressed a desire to explain in detail the training processes and laboratory studies conducted in this field in Turkey. The participants also made proposals to increase the attendance of the symposium, taking into account the observance of the necessary preventive measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The statement of the organizers is as follows: “We are looking forward to your contribution and participation in the form of abstracts, suggestions for workshops, seminars, speeches, interviews, open sessions and group discussions of the elevator construction symposium, which is the most significant platform for the exchange of technological developments, practices and information in the field of elevator construction Turkey.
