ASFED (Elevator Industrialists Federation), one of the greatest non-governmental organizations in elevator industry in Turkey held second general assembly at the headquarters of ASFED on May 29, Monday. Members of new management and supervisory boards were determined and accepted by majority of votes at the end of the election conducted with single list.

ASFED ESTABLISHED ITS NEW BOARD

 

ASFED (Elevator Industrialists Federation), one of the greatest non-governmental organizations in elevator industry in Turkey held second general assembly at the headquarters of ASFED on May 29, Monday. Members of new management and supervisory boards were determined and accepted by majority of votes at the end of the election conducted with single list.

 

ASFED (Elevator Industrialists Federation) held second general assembly at the headquarters of ASFED on May 29, Monday with sufficient quorum.  Members of new management and supervisory boards were determined as well as the amendments in regulation at the general assembly conducted with single list. As for the amended articles of regulation, number of management board was increased from 7 to 15 and times of general assembly held once in three years was changed to once in 2 years.

 

Second General Assembly of ASFED started upon the fulfillment of sufficient quorum. Previously council of general assembly was elected. Seyfi Aydınoğlu, Taner Kalyon and Murat Mutlu nominated to council were elected respectively chairman and secretary members.  Yusuf Atik, Chairman of ASFED gave an opening speech and saluted the participants following stand in silence and national anthem. And then activity and audit reports of ASFED were read by Mehmet Ayata, Member of Management Board. 

 

Gürhan Cihaner, Chairman of ANASDER (Anatolian Elevator Conductors Association) who took the floor following the reading of reports, talked about his considerations on the activities in previous periods of ASFED and requested Federation to produce more permanent solutions for the problems of industry. And then Ahmet Fikret Gökhan, Chairman of TASİAD (All Elevator Industrialists and Businessmen Association) took the floor and made his critics by stating Federation had to make stronger moves and that relevant studies haven’t reached the desired level.

 

Yusuf Atik, Chairman of ASFED  taking the floor following speakers thanked his colleagues criticizing the activities of Federation and recalled that Federation is a newly-established non-governmental organization and said that they will perform their activities at the desired level in the following period. Atik stated that everybody needs to take on responsibility and work further in order for the Federation to be stronger and added that they will concentrate on the commissions in the following period. 

 

And then the motion proposing that the number of the members of management board stated in the ASFED regulations be increased from 7 to 15 was voted out and accepted. And then a motion for the reduction of the times of general assembly from once in 3 years to once in two years was voted and accepted so. Thereafter single list containing original members and associate members was voted out. The list voted out was accepted with the majority of votes.

 

Members of Management Board coming from Provincial Associations took the floor and shared the information on the industrial problems and developments experienced in their regions with participants. General Assembly was concluded following wishes and requests. 

 

Original Members and Associate Members of Management and Supervisory Boards for second period of ASFED consist of: Yusuf Atik, Ümit Özlü, Hüsnü Gökgöz, Hilmi Kaşlıoğlu, Muammer Ödemiş, Sebahattin Baki, Mehmet Akgöz, Süleyman Aydın, Edip Yeşil, Nuri Kuzan, Özcan Toprak, Abdurrahman Aksöz, İbrahim Özçakır, Yasemin Bulut, Hakan Başkaraağaç Original Members of Management Board; Murat Mutlu, Ali Cirit, Zafer Karabay, Naım Pedük, Sinan Tepe, Devrim Gecegezer, İsmail Gökçeoğlu, Mustafa Tutsak, Cem Bozdağ, Mithat Zeytun, İsmail Ercan, Nejdet Şahin, Mesut Yıldız, Kadir Telli, Murat Emre Üstün, Associate Members of Management Board. Ayhan Bilgiç, Mehmet Ayata, Muzaffer Hıza, Original Members of Supervisory Board; Mustafa Uçar, Mustafa Yayla, Kerim Mahsereci, Associate Members of Supervisory Board.
