Arda Asansör, which had entered into a distributorship agreement with CEG and took place in the stand where Spain origin CEG machine motors are xposed, introduced their new machine to Turkish lift businessmen there.

Aykan Çayır, Foreign Trade Manager of Arda Asansör shared his impressions on Interlift with us. Arda Asansör, which had entered into a distributorship agreement with CEG and took place in the stand where Spain origin CEG machine motors are xposed, introduced their new machine to Turkish lift businessmen there.

 

- Mr. Aykan, Could you make an assessment about the exhibition by sharing your impressions on Interlift?

As it always has been, Interlift addressed the real target audience. We saw various innovations in the exhibition. Firm and brands took place in the exhibition after an extremely rigorous effort and care. We encountered with new technologies and innovations in the exhibition. There had been a product-based recession in the sector for a long time. But we got the opportunity to see new designs this year. Number and quality of visitors was pleasant as it always has been.

 

- Could you list your purposes in participating the exhibition and talk about your earnings following the exhibition?

As Arda Group Asansör we took place in the stand where Spain origin CEG machine motors are exhibited. We participated in the exhibition and entertained our guests in order to support CEG machine motors distributed by us in Turkey upon the agreement conducted in recent months. Our goal was to introduce the firm to Turkish lift businessmen with our new machine. We did it. We infer it from the negotiations during and after the exhibition.

 

- What are the outstanding features and advantages of the exhibition as compared with other exhibitions?

First of all Interlift can succeed to bring industry professionals together as for visitor profile. Those coming to visit the exhibition are extremely qualified and directly associated with the industry. Profiles of visitors from different countries make the exhibition attractive. But one thing is certain that it has started to lose the participants from Middle East and Africa in recent years. I think that both visa and competitive prices at the exhibitions in Istanbul causes such results.  

- What are your targets in Europe and regional area as a firm? Could you inform us on them by describing your current activities?

I can say that as a firm we have speeded up our export activities in the recent period. We have serious investments and efforts for the matter concerned. We have various initiatives to carry out our goals in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Middle East. We took serious steps for the matter concerned and it will go on so. But we have to wait for the problems on Northern Iraq, ISIS and Syria to be settled a bit more. We will carry our suspending projects in those regions.

    

- What are your impressions on global lift industry principally European lift industry?

European industry is ahead of us and flies its flag higher than us. It is real. Whereas the products exhibited by European firms at Interlift may give us an idea about the future, we are seen to try to evaluate what we have in our hands. Whereas they seek technological products and try to be ahead, we are interested in mechanical parts.

   

- Economic and political developments experienced throughout the world caused a serious market loss and deviations in Turkey. Could you share your studies and your solutions introduced by you for the matter concerned?

Actually a part of the answer is hidden in the question. Considerable movements were observed in the market especially in the Middle East. In this context most sensible thing to do is to search and find the alternative markets to target markets in my opinion. Eastern Europe and Caucasians are prominent regions in this sense.
